This '101-Must-Visit' attraction, Cabot Tower, was built in the 1890s to commemorate the 400th anniversary of the journey of John Cabot from Bristol to land which later became Canada. Similar towers exist in St. John's Newfoundland and Labrador. This impressive structure offers breathtaking panoramic views of Bristol and its harbour, so be sure to bring your camera.

The Tower is in Brandon Hill Park which is a great spot for picnics.
